Reviving the Ocean

In 1995, a fishing community in Mexico chose to stop fishing on their local reef. Just over a decade later, the amount of fish there had risen by more than 460%. This session tells the story of ocean recovery, from humpback whales returning after the whaling ban to penguins warning us about the polar seas, and what recovery needs to work.
