You put it in the bin, and it’s gone. Except it isn’t. Every crisp packet and plastic bottle ends up somewhere: a landfill, an incinerator, a ship to another country or the sea, and sometimes back inside us. This session follows your rubbish on its real journey and shows why recycling is the weakest of the three Rs. There’s no such place as away.
